Theoretical Computer Science Group at UIC

The departments of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science (MSCS), Computer Science (CS), and Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) are home to a lively theory presence at UIC. Our unique cross-departmental structure helps facilitate regular collaborations between the theory faculty and a diverse number of both computer scientists and mathematicians.

We are also pleased to collaborate with the larger Chicago-area IDEAL Data Science Institute and also the Mathematical Computer Science Group in the MSCS department.
